The UNSW Foundation office promotes philanthropy, sponsorships, and alumni appeals to support the University’s goals in research, faculty projects, scholarships, community engagement and capital works. Through the UNSW Foundation office, donors, supporters and alumni participate in building, sustaining and advancing the University. The Foundation office receives contributions made by alumni, supporters, private foundations and corporations; invests and manages the contributions to protect and enhance their value; and disburses them to UNSW’s faculties and divisions.

UNSW is committed to consistent and transparent administration and reporting of all fundraising contributions through the UNSW Foundation office. The UNSW Foundation office is a division of UNSW responsible for the core activities of Alumni Relations, Development and Advancement Services

The UNSW Foundation Limited

The UNSW Foundation Limited was established in 1988 as the University’s fundraising arm. Today, the University’s commitment to support UNSW’s key priorities in research, student experience and community engagement through fundraising is ongoing.

David Gonski AC, UNSW Chancellor and Chairman of the UNSW Foundation Limited, and the Board of Directors
are dedicated to building dynamic partnerships to support key research objectives and other University priorities. The Foundation Chief Executive, Jennifer Bott is a member of the senior executive team of the University reporting jointly to the Vice-Chancellor and to the Chairman of the Foundation Limited Board (the Chancellor).
